Stay scholarship
Gabriele Wild, born in 1982, studied German literature and Russian in Innsbruck, Berlin, St. Petersburg and Riga. She began her career already while studying towards her degree, working as an author, moderator and host for the Tyrolean literature magazine Cognac & Biskotten and thus discovered her excitement for literature events and literature transmission. After having finished her degree in German studies she worked at different projects in literature studies for some years and was also responsible for the programme of the literature event Innsbrucker Wochenendgespräche. In 2009, her path led to Innsbruck’s House of Literature at the Inn where she now does the programme and works as a moderator. In her function as a employee at the House of Literatur she is also engaged in the culture advisory board of the state of Tyrol and is a member of various juries for awarding literature grants and prizes.

Spend a beautiful day and engage yourself in sophisticated literary encounters - we are convinced that the JUFFING is the ideal place to solve this seeming contradiction.
The authors that we invite are just as hand-picked as our library. We do not let ourselves be blinded by trends and names but count on prize-winning authors apart from the bestseller lists, on unique and idiosyncratic literary voices, and last but not least on insider tips and new discoveries. Have the courage, leave the trodden paths, there are so many things which only wait to be discovered!
What expects you
At our literary Sunday breakfast, where we will await you from 8.00 am, you can take enough time to get in the mood for the reading. From 10.30 to 11.15 you will meet the authors and their books in concentrated silence. After we will have shared our thoughts in an esteeming atmosphere you will recollect the impressions in our spa before you will enjoy our afternoon buffet (2.00 to 4.30 pm).
